Leading High Performance Teams

Tuesday, March 25, 2014
10:00 to 16:00

The morning programme:

Formula One is a unique mix of business and sport, where strong leadership, efficient team work, split second decision making and a clear focus on delivery are required to compete at the highest levels. It’s also a sport which places safety at its core, yet seeks to achieve the highest levels of technical and human performance.

Mark Gallagher has spent a decade and a half on the management boards of top teams. He has worked with some of the sport’s greatest drivers, most successful team bosses and top entrepreneurs, gaining insights into what it takes to develop a winning mindset and lead an ambitious organisation in a highly complex environment. In 2009 he applied these lessons directly by steering his own team, Status Grand Prix, to success in the World Cup of Motorsport.

With a relaxed, anecdotal and humorous style, Mark gives businesses and organisations a rare insight into what it takes to build, lead and motivate high performance teams and compete for success at world level. This includes developing and communicating a clear leadership vision through to empowering staff and engaging with them to ensure that everyone is aligned and focussed on the ambitious goals ahead.
