Coaching - Working with Teams

Thursday, February 6, 2014

Organised by NHS Leadership South West in association with The Performance Coach

Thursday 6th February 2014 - Holiday Inn, Taunton

This master class aims to give trained coaches an introduction of the transition required in moving from one to one coaching to the complex dynamics of a team environment. We will explore the different competencies and areas of focus required to coach teams versus individuals.

Using ‘hands on’ practical demonstrations to enable experiential learning we will discuss the concepts of:

  • What makes high performing teams?
  • When a team coaching intervention is the ‘right’ solution
  • Facilitating the process for a team coaching intervention
  • Critical success factors to ensure a successful team coaching intervention

This one-day master class will be delivered by Kate Hesk and Damion Wonfor - both Directors of The Performance Coach. Kate and Damion are both Master Coaches (qualified to MSc), have supported and developed many coaches and leaders within the NHS over the last 10 years, and both operate as successful team coaches within the NHS and the private sector.

This CPD master class is intended for all internal coaches currently on the NHS Leadership South West Coaching Register.

If you are a qualified coach (minimum of ILM 5 required) and not yet on the regional register, please contact for joining instructions. You will then be able to access all future CPD opportunities, free supervision and use the online register tools to track your coaching hours, monitor relationships and keep a reflective log.
